Shrimply the Best Shrimp Dip

A retro party dip with a modern twist. This Shrimp Dip is shrimply the best! It’s creamy, thick and full of savory flavor. With every scoop comes flavors of tang, spice, herbs and fresh shrimp. Once you start scooping, you won’t be able to stop!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ Cup plain greek yogurt 5% milkfat
  • 1 Cup cooked shrimp, finely chopped
  • 1 TBSP grated yellow onion
  • 1 TBSP Ketchup
  • 1-2 TBSP lemon juice
  • 2 TSP worcestershire sauce
  • ½ TSP tabasco sauce
  • 1 TBSP chives + extra for garnish if desired
  • ¼ TSP fresh cracked black pepper
  • Mini toasts, crackers of choice or bread toasted for serving

Instructions

  1. Remove the tails from your cooked shrimp and finely chop them. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Grate your yellow onion, measure out and set aside.
  3. Finely chop your chives, measure out and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, mash your room temperature cream cheese with your greek yogurt until smooth.
  5. Add in your shrimp, grated yellow onion, lemon juice, ketchup and worcestershire sauce, chives, black pepper, red pepper flakes and tabasco sauce. Mix well until everything is combined.
  6. Place in the fridge to cool for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to serving. Best if kept overnight if you can.
  7. Garnish with black pepper and extra chives.
  8. Serve with buttered toasts, your favorite crackers, extra lemon wedges and extra large cooked shrimp if desired.
