Milk and Cereal Fruity Pebbles French Toast Sticks

Started from the bowls and now we here! Add some extra fun, colors and brightness to your brunches with these vibrant fruity pebbles french toast sticks. Dip, dunk or drizzle them with my milk and cereal glaze for the ultimate nostalgic breakfast.

Ingredients

For the Fruity Pebbles French Toast Sticks:

  • 3 TBSP butter, sliced
  • 1 Loaf of Bread, purchased not sliced. Cut them in thicker slices and then cut in sticks 
  • 3 eggs 
  • 1 Cup oat milk 
  • 1 TSP Vanilla extract 
  • 1/2 TSP Cinnamon 
  • 1/4 TSP Nutmeg 
  • 2 Cups Fruity pebbles

For the Milk and Cereal Glaze:

  • 1 and 1/4 Cup Oat Milk
  • 3 TSP Maple Syrup 
  • 1 Cup Fruity Pebbles 
  • 5 Cups Powdered Sugar

Instructions

  1. To make the maple milk and cereal glaze add your milk to a bowl. Add your fruity pebbles and let soak for 15-20 minutes. When done soaking, strain your cereal milk into another bowl and discard your soggy fruity pebbles. Add in your 1 TSP maple syrup and 2 cups powdered sugar. Whisk well until smooth and a glaze like. Set aside until ready to serve. 
  2. To make the french toast sticks, start by cutting your bread into thicker slices about 1”. Then lay the slice down flat and cut into 3rds.Continue this process until all bread slices are cut in sticks. 
  3. In a bowl, add your oat milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon,nutmeg and eggs. Whisk until smooth. Pour your fruity pebbles on a plate and spread out evenly. 
  4. One at a time, dunk your sticks into the milk and egg mixture and then directly into your fruity pebbles. Make sure to coat all sides with the fruity pebbles. Continue this process until all have been coated. 
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat. Add your butter slices and melt. Once melted at as many sticks as you can fit in your pan and cook in each side for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. 
  6. Removed from heat and serve immediately with maple milk and cereal glaze.
